Please do not break the bug metadata. As you reassigned the bug, dumat will no longer associate it and will file a duplicate. That's not what you want. I don't like playing severity pingpong, but this bug really is explicitly release-critical as has been stated in https://lists.debian.org/[email protected]. I have added a bookworm tag such that it does not affect any other release and should not cause any testing removal or similar. Helmut
