Earlier versions of verilator, like 5.006-3 found in bookworm, do not show the same bug, so it counts as a regression. I personally built several versions from source on bookworm. I can confirm that the bug shows up in v5.012, but not v5.014 or v6.016. I humbly suggest you update the version in testing. My environment is stock testing/trixie amd64 as of today: kernel 6.1.0-12 libc6 2.37-10 libsystemc-dev 2.3.4-3
