Package: dpkg Version: 1.13.19 The install-info manpage says this:
--infodir=infodir
Specifies that the dir file is, and the installed copy of the
new Info file was, is or will be located in infodir. The
default is /usr/info.
This is incorrect. The default is /usr/share/info.
