Well, at least part of this stack seems to be corrupted; the bottom three
entries clearly so, and non_root_mode() isn't a function that should ever
generate a panic.  Do you have the samba-dbg package installed on this
system?  Could you check your logs for a panic trace from the same time, and
post that as well?
