I have ported the unreleased upstream changes including the relicensing of the RSA-MD code back to the unstable Debian version. This leaves us with BSD-3-Clause-Attribution. Its GPL incompatibility is not so clear, as Richard explained, so this issue is not as pressing as it was until now.
