Hi! I use the 'current' from the date the bug was filed. I saw the problem on sarge, then dist-upgraded to etch (for several reasons). I remeber switching from .19 to .21 - but cannot remember Debian's -X revision.
I may have to add the I apt-ed "pure-ftpd" first, then replaced it with apt-get install "pure-ftpd-ldap".
