Hi, I just found that the imaps support wishlist bug has already been filed upstream, and there's a patch available [1]. I haven't reviewed the patch seriously so far, but it doesn't appear to be complete and well integrated: e.g. the Python dependency needs be bumped to 2.3, and the manpage be updated, too.
