Also ran into this one... I noticed though that the command was listed in the package files : # dpkg -L mysql-server-5.0 | grep -i upgrade /var/lib/mysql-upgrade # ls -alrt /var/lib/mysql-upgrade ls: /var/lib/mysql-upgrade: No such file or directory I hope this is corrected in the new package. Also the README wasn't clear, mentioning this command... but if it's /var/lib/mysql-upgrade... well I suppose it wouldn't be in the PATH. Hope this has all been corrected in new package version, which hopefully reaches testing soon.
