Tested the procedure on a different Debian Bookworm machine where I never ran freecad before, and there Path did not throw this error.
Next, tried to move away ~/.local/share/FreeCAD, ~/.config/FreeCAD and ~/.cache/FreeCAD on the original machine and ran freecad again, and it is still failing the same way there. Hoped it was something with my users old setup that broke freecad, but guess not. Not sure what is going on here. Some broken dependency or failed upgrade? The failing machine have seen many upgrades since it was installed with Debian 7.1 in 2013. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
