Dhcpcd-dbus provides dhcpcd just check the link below and I didn't see anything being merged about that in the commits made, are you sure about that? The only dependency that was missing was wpa_supplicant to be installed that the package depended on. Then I want to test compiling it to qt5 since the upstream mentioned that it works. Already qt4 is not used anymore. I remember using dhcpcd-ui to see how it worked when I worked on it to release 0.7.8. It works fine without needing to enter any dependencies.
