I received this bug report from German Gutierrez:

file boxshell.c in the example directory of the documentation
( /usr/share/doc/librote-dev/examples/demo/boxshell.c )
is missing string.h header to compile with no warnings.
Yes it's easy to spot and fix, but i thought you might want to be aware
of that

This appears to be specific to gcc-4.0.  Simply adding string.h as one
of the includes at the top of the file fixes it.
