Package: manpages Version: 6.03-2 Severity: normal Tags: upstream X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Dear maintainer,
the tmpfs.5 manpages states in the description of the huge= mount option:
| Set the huge table memory allocation policy for all files in this
| instance (if CONFIG_TRANSPARENT_HUGE_PAGECACHE is enabled).
That kernel option was removed more than three years ago, in commit
v5.6-11468-g396bcc5299c2 ("mm: remove CONFIG_TRANSPARENT_HUGE_PAGECACHE").
Reading the commit message, it's possibly sufficient to refer to
CONFIG_TRANSPARENT_HUGEPAGE instead, but I might be completely wrong
here.
This problem still exists in upstream version 6.04.
