Package: mutt
Version: 1.5.6-20040907+3
Severity: normal

Hi.

I have several IMAP accounts including one on my own personal computer.
Since I use spamassassin for filtering spam, I have tried to collect my own
corpus of spam.

Unfortunately, mutt hangs when trying to upload some messages from my
primary IMAP account to my personal IMAP server (Courier IMAP -- the
version in testing).

I've seen this behaviour for a long time, but only now I took the time to
report it.

I can put one specific message where mutt fails to upload to the IMAP
server. I don't know exactly if this is a problem with the IMAP server that
I am using or with mutt. The funny thing is that mutt downloads the message
correctly (and I am able to see all the headers of the message), but it
hangs during the upload until the connection to the IMAP server times out.

I am filing this bug to mutt because under these circumstances, I can use,
say, Mozilla Thunderbird to move the message between folders with said IMAP
servers without any problems, which would lead me to think that mutt's
conversation with the IMAP server may not be as "smooth" as is
Thunderbird's.

BTW, this is reproducible, but only with some e-mails and I didn't
recognize the pattern needed to reproduce the bug (but I am keeping one
e-mail that generates such bug).

As another piece of information, I am using IMAPS to connect to my servers,
but I don't know if this matters or not.

Thank you very much for any help, Rogrio Brito.
