Many thanks for the bug report!, we will look at it.

In the meantime I suggest you a (IMHO of course) better opinion to deal
with the issue. When you open a file which is folded and want to see the
non folder version, consider using "zi", which inverts the status of the
'foldenable' variable toggling fold for the whole buffer.
