This bug has had no activity since 2014, and would appear to be indicating an efficiency deficiency in egrep, but there's not enough information to understand if it still applies - not least because the first message suggests an issue in local rules. Unless any further information is available i suggest we close this - will revisit once bookworm is released, unless anyone objects
