* What led up to the situation?
I wanted to build a 'live' iso with an ext4 file system instead of squashfs,
and I wanted to build it for 'bookworm'. I was running on a 'bookworm' system.
This is the same bug as 1031677; the difference is that I have narrowed down
the commands necessary to reproduce the porblem.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
lb config --distribution=bookworm --chroot-filesystem=ext4
lb build
* What was the outcome of this action?
Error messages
ln: failed to create symbolic link '/etc/mtab': File exists

* What outcome did you expect instead?
an 'iso' file
