Wow, I really dropped the ball on this one.
Reading back from the history, I don't see how this got missed for so
many years.
Unfortunately, krb5 is part of build-essential and is already frozen for
bookworm.
I'd be happy to fix this once development opens up for the next release
and look at a backport for bookworm.
