Yes of moving parts right now. This one feature has to be re-done.
"cpigs -c |grep file" can be used as a temporary workaround.

On the side I can provide a patch to your package "nullmailer" (which I use)
to use dh-cruft if you are interested.

cruft(-ng) will complain about files that piuparts will never know about:
   /var/log/mail.err*
   /var/log/mail.info*
   /var/log/mail.log*
   /var/log/mail.warn*
   /var/spool/nullmailer/queue/*
   /var/spool/nullmailer/tmp/*
   /var/spool/nullmailer/trigger

(I guess these should also be removed on purge ?)
