Dear Maintainer,
I use zsh as my login shell and have the following line in
.zprofile on two machines:
[[ -o interactive ]] && byobu-select-session && exit 0
One machine runs Ubuntu 20.04, and byobu-select-session works as
expected on that machine. The other runs Debian 11. On the
Debian 11 machine, byobu-select session exhibits the following
behavior on login:
1) Despite ~/.byobu/.always-select being present, the session
selection menu is only presented if multiple screen sessions
already exist.
2) The screen session that is created appears to be identical to
that created by an invocation of vanilla screen: no status bar
is present and byobu-specific keybindings are ignored. This does
*not* occur if byobu is launched directly, only if it is
launched through byobu-select-session
The default ~/.byobu/profile on the affected machine sourced a
non-existent file in ~/.byobu. In an attempt to resolve the
issue, I replaced it with the ~/.byobu/profile from the Ubuntu
machine where byobu-select-session is working, this had no
effect.
