Package: fetchmail
Version: 6.4.35-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

=================================================================================================
Until version 6.4.33-2, it was possible to keep fetchmail output (-v -v)
in a user-specified logfile with these lines below in .fetchmailrc:
    set logfile /var/tmp/fetchmail.log

This no longer works and syslog says logfile is ignored due to nodetach option:
    fetchmail[1014123]: The nodetach option is in effect, ignoring logfile
option.

This was not the case before 6.4.33-2 and the specified logfile was
populated everytime fetchmail was called, using the same, unchanged
.fetchmailrc.
There seems to be no way to override this behavior and
keep verbose fetchmail output in a user-specified logfile.
