Dear Maintainer, While the GRUB2 menu is being displayed, there's a "Debian 12" logo on the splashscreen in the lower lefthand corner. GRUB2 however displays text there (including the countdown timer message) and it is very hard to read because of the logo. This may depend on the user's screen resolution. I'm using 1440p and the the positioning conflict is maximally bad there. The logo would be much better positioned if it were on the lower LEFT-hand side. Cheers, Jason PS I used yesterday's daily Bookworm net installer so the issue is as current as it could be. PPS I noticed below in the auto generated message from reportbug that desktop-base is suggesting xfce 4.16. That should also be changed because we recently updated testing to 4.18. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.0.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/24 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages desktop-base depends on: ii fonts-quicksand 0.2016-2.1 ii librsvg2-common 2.54.5+dfsg-1 Versions of packages desktop-base recommends: ii plymouth-label 22.02.122-2 Versions of packages desktop-base suggests: ii xfce4 4.16 -- no debconf information
