While I look at non-maintainer uploads as a nice gesture to help, and am happy to see your contribution, I would like to point out that while <URL: https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/pkgs.html#nmu > do not state that the package being NMU-ed need to be test built before upload, it is considered best practice.
Note, I am very happy to see your NMU commited to the shared git repository on salsa, and find it to be a good alternative to the developer reference required NMU bug report on bugs.debian.org. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
