Well, just because it's in NEW right now doesn't mean you can't have your
sponsor upload a fix that returns the fonts.alias to /etc/X11/fonts. :)

Or you could ask the package to be kicked out from NEW -- either way.

And the final patch for xfonts-utils is such that xfonts-thai-nectec won't
be *broken* by installing to /etc/X11/fonts/X11R7; but it's still buggy and
should be fixed when possible.
