Package: sogo Version: 5.7.1-3+b1 Severity: normal Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
Synchronizing of calendars and address books (via CalDAV/CardDAV) is not working. I experience the issue in the Thunderbird client (on Windows) as well as DAVx5 (on Android). The issue is that content starts with an UTF-8 Byte-Order-Mark (BOM), caused by changes in gnustep-base introduced between version 1.27 and 1.28, as described here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1737067 This bug is tracked upstream: https://bugs.sogo.nu/view.php?id=5416 https://github.com/gnustep/libs-base/issues/212 There also seems to be a patch available upstream, but this has not been merged in v5.7.1: https://github.com/Alinto/sogo/pull/324 Best regards, Timo -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable'), (400, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.0.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages sogo depends on: ii adduser 3.129 ii gnustep-base-runtime 1.28.0-4+b1 ii init-system-helpers 1.65.2 ii libc6 2.35-4 ii libcrypt1 1:4.4.28-2 ii libcurl4 7.85.0-1 ii libgcc-s1 12.2.0-3 ii libglib2.0-0 2.74.0-3 ii libgnustep-base1.28 1.28.0-4+b1 ii liblasso3 2.8.0-1+b4 ii libmemcached11 1.0.18+-1+b1 ii liboath0 2.6.7-3 ii libobjc4 12.2.0-3 ii libsbjson2.3 2.3.2-4+b4 ii libsodium23 1.0.18-1 ii libsope1 5.7.1-1 ii libssl3 3.0.5-4 ii libytnef0 2.0-1+b1 ii libzip4 1.7.3-1+b1 ii lsb-base 11.4 ii memcached 1.6.17-1+b1 ii sogo-common 5.7.1-3 ii systemd 251.6-1 ii sysvinit-utils [lsb-base] 3.05-6 ii zip 3.0-12 Versions of packages sogo suggests: ii mariadb-server-10.6 [virtual-mysql-server] 1:10.6.10-1+b1 -- no debconf information
