Hi,diffutils has an incomplete copyright file. At least LGPL-2.1+ and GPL-2+ licenses are missing even though they are applicable to some files. While they can be distributed as GPL-3+, it is not the correct license for those files to record in d/copyright.
I have attached a d/copyright file in the machine-readable format for v3.8. Thanks for considering replacing the file. Bastian
