Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Upgraded an existing system from buster to bullseye. Thunderbird is
completely unusable, any attempt to use it stops the whole machine
from doing anything.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Have tried installing bullseye from scratch. Same problem.
Have tried deleting ~/.thunderbird and ~/.icedove. Same problem.
Have tried installing the version from bookworm, dependency
problems.
Have tried installing the version from buster, dependency problems.
* What was the outcome of this action?
I can't use thunderbird for mail.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
I expected to be able to read and write mail.
