This extension looks like it needs code changes for GNOME Shell 43,
which is currently in experimental and should be going to unstable soon.
Upstream version 1.7.0 seems to have the required changes (I have not
tested it, I don't use this extension myself).
After updating it for gnome-shell 43 compatibility, I'd recommend giving
it a dependency on gnome-shell (<< 44~) so that it won't be co-installable
with GNOME Shell 44 (including alphas/betas) during the Debian 13 cycle.
The current dependency on gnome-shell (<< 43) is co-installable with
gnome-shell (= 43~beta-1), which seems unintended.
