I tested 0.3.54. It fixes problem 1 (mpv), but problem 2. (audio corruption in ffmpeg encoding) still happens. It looks like the same audio corruption and warning message that led me to use "-preset ultrafast" in ffmpeg instead of the default -preset value to get a flawless audio recording, but after 0.3.51 this is not enough anymore (regression in performance?).
