as in the initial post, i found a link that indicates that such explicit requests are in direct violation of DFSG Section 8, namely that others (including Derivatives) may take the source that goes through Debian and continue to use and distribute it without limit or restriction. the message to the Mozilla Foundation needs to be more along the lines, "please remove the restriction from the Trademark License so that we may comply with DFSG Section 8, otherwise we have to do an iceweasel". l.
