$ firefox http://google.com .. pops up a window "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system." Indeed firefox is running, but it IS responding. I have closed and reopened firefox many times since the update, no luck. With my current setup for FF this should open a new window with that URL.
