my gdm showed the same behaviour after upgrade from 2.13.0.10-2 to 2.14.4-1: After entering the password, after a while, gdm complains about the session lasting only 10s. I had to downgrad to 2.13.0.10-2 to get my system running again. I could not spot any bug, but my home directory is chmod 755...
