the plymouth splash screener switches to black screen when booting up on a m1 mac machine with asahi linux. Unfortunatelly plymouth works fine with Fedora Rawhide (also 22.02.122) with exactly the same kernel. So I expect a problem with plymouth but not with the kernel. * enable splash option in /etc/default/grub * update-initrd * reboot Expected: System starts up and switches to plymouth graphics Actual behaviour: System starts and blanks screen.
