I don't think it would help. As python-pysqlite[2] _build_ depends on sqlite3 and such, does not need any sqlite3 package for runtime. The build-dependency fix was solved in python-pysqlite2 2.2.0-1 . Thus I am going to close this bug after a week if you agree / do not respond back.
