Drawing from over 450 signal processing modules, it can be used to model virtually any synthesizer or multi-effect processor. It can work either in real-time or as a compiler. . Csound is to sound synthesis as C is to programming. . This package contains additional plugins. Upstream has split their repository, so now add-ons for the main "Csound" package have a different repo and release cycle. To not lose those plugins in Debian, packaging the new repo is required as well.
