Package: matlab-support Version: 0.0.22 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
when trying to install this package, I get a full-screen prompt saying: ┌─────────────────┤ MATLAB interface configuration ├──────────────────┐ │ │ │ No MATLAB installation found │ │ │ │ No MATLAB executables were found in the directories you specified. │ │ │ │ This package requires at least one local installation of MATLAB. │ │ │ │ <Ok> │ │ │ └─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘ there is only one choice, and using it results... in the same prompt. I held down enter for about half a minute, worth about one thousand "OK"'s, but the dialog still repappeared, so thisa seems to be an endless loop. You can't ^Z out of it, either, so you need to log in form another terminal and kill the process tree. -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (990, 'stable-updates'), (990, 'stable-security'), (990, 'stable'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'oldstable'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386, x32 Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-10-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_IE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_IE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages matlab-support depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.77 ii sudo 1.9.5p2-3 Versions of packages matlab-support recommends: ii libgfortran-10-dev 10.2.1-6 pn libgfortran-11-dev <none> ii libstdc++-10-dev [libstdc++-dev] 10.2.1-6 ii libstdc++-6-dev [libstdc++-dev] 6.3.0-18+deb9u1 ii libstdc++-9-dev [libstdc++-dev] 9.3.0-22 Versions of packages matlab-support suggests: pn lsb-core <none>
