I don't see how an auto packaging test will catch such situation.
The issue will always happen if CGE is packaged before the transition.
And even if it happens, it will not completely render it non usable. Only PNG
feature will suffer.
More over, as long as I can see in the code, the final fallback is to libpng.so
which will always link to the latest version. So it should be OK.

I don't like issues that are open for years. Either we know how to fix it and we
do it, or we won't fix it and then we close it as so.
