Package: xcin Version: 2.5.2.99.pre2+cvs20030224-1.1 Severity: normal
I often want to use Chinese in both Firefox and the Sylpheed e-mail client. This used to work, but not longer. Current behavior is that when I bring up xcin input window with a ctrl-space in either Firefox or Sylpheed, it will not subsequently come up in the other application. It is doing SOMETHING, however, because after a ctrl-space in the second application, I cannot type anything until a second ctrl-space, after which I can type normally (English, that is). I can NEVER type Chinese with xcin in the second application. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-a21m.17 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages xcin depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdb3 3.2.9-25 Berkeley v3 Database Libraries [ru ii libtabe2 0.2.6-1 C library for Chinese lexicons rel ii libx11-6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii locales 2.3.6-7 GNU C Library: National Language ( Versions of packages xcin recommends: ii rxvt-ml 1:2.6.4-10 multi-lingual VT102 terminal emula -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
