Package: vim Version: 2:8.2.3565-1+b1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: jkran...@gmail.com
When trying to edit a file inside any zip archive (doing 'vim some-archive.zip' and choosing a file), vim 8.2.3565-1+b1 only gives an empty buffer, even if file is not actually empty. Vim version 8.2.2434-3 from the stable repository does not have this problem. -- Package-specific info: --- real paths of main Vim binaries --- /usr/bin/vi is /usr/bin/vim.gtk3 /usr/bin/vim is /usr/bin/vim.gtk3 /usr/bin/gvim is /usr/bin/vim.gtk3 -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.14.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages vim depends on: ii libacl1 2.3.1-1 ii libc6 2.32-4 ii libgpm2 1.20.7-9 ii libselinux1 3.3-1+b1 ii libsodium23 1.0.18-1 ii libtinfo6 6.3-1 ii vim-common 2:8.2.3565-1 ii vim-runtime 2:8.2.3565-1 vim recommends no packages.
