Until I know how you plan to address this bug I cannot fix the problem in mmdebstrap because any possible fix would only be able to migrate after debootstrap with whatever solution is chosen to this bug migrates. So please either: a) decide that this bug is not RC and thus let debootstrap with its current behaviour migrate to testing or b) tell me what other solution you see in the bug -- i can even contribute a patch if you tell me how you want this bug solved Thanks! cheers, josch
