Package: bladerf Version: 0.2019.07-7 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: The currently available bladerf 2.0 xA5 is supported by the latest released version of the upstream bladeRF package (2021-10), but not by the earlier verisons currently in unstable or experimental.
Due to the global chip shortage this new hardware version had to be introduced, see https://www.nuand.com/introducing-the-bladerf-2-0-micro-xa5/ as a replacement to the xA4. As far as I know, only the FPGA size is different. It would be great to see the debian package upgrade to the 2021-10 version which has been released on October 5: https://github.com/Nuand/bladeRF/releases/tag/2021.10 Thanks in advance -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages bladerf depends on: ii libbladerf2 0.2019.07-7 ii libc6 2.32-4 ii libtecla1 1.6.3-3 bladerf recommends no packages. bladerf suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
