Package: gnome-calculator Version: 1:40.1-1ubuntu2 Severity: wishlist The package gnome-calculator contains two .pc files for the developer tool pkg-config and two shared libraries with a filename ending in '.so'. In Debian based systems, such files usually are content of separate -dev package(s). My wish, because I want to understand it: Please, explain why gnome-calculator was not split into several packages.
By the way, both header files include glib.h. gcalc.h even includes gee.h. gci.h even includes gtk/gtk.h. Therefore, the current package gnome-calculator would need additional depend on libglib2.0-dev, libgee-0.8-dev, and libgtk-3-dev, actually.
