Obtained manually:-
ii debconf 1.4.71 Debian configuration management system
ii debconf-i18n 1.4.71 full internationalization support for debcon

Remarks: I have gramps 1.0.11-1 working OK on this system (and others on
multi-boot system). I have upgraded the dependencies as required by the
gramps 2.0.10-1 installation, so the latter installs OK :-

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/dad# dpkg -i gramps_2.0.10-1_all.deb
(Reading database ... 116817 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace gramps 1.0.11-1 (using gramps_2.0.10-1_all.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement gramps ...
Setting up gramps (2.0.10-1) ...

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/dad#

But gramps will not start, giving the Configuration error message quoted
above, which continues "Possibly the installation of GRAMPS was
incomplete. Make sure the MIME-types of GRAMPS are properly installed."

It may be significant that I do not install a full gnome desktop system,
only, piece-wise, those tools and applications that I use.

RESOLUTION 26 April 2006:-

I upgraded python2.3-gnome2 to 2.6.1-1 (from Debian Sarge 3.1 DVD) and then gramps 2.0.10-1 started OK.

(python-gnome2 was then also upgraded to 2.6.1-1 for consistency).
