Package: gnome-control-center Version: 2.12.3 Exact program: gnome-keyboard-properties
I get errors on my console after X crashes, like this: *** glibc detected *** realloc(): invalid pointer: 0x0000003b *** *** glibc detected *** malloc(): memory corruption: 0x084c7b58 *** To duplicate the bug, I do this: Load the gnome keyboard properties. Go to Layout Options, go to Alt/Win key behavior, and selected Add the standard behavior to Menu Key This will lock my system. I cannot type (caps lock won't work, keyboard is dead), the only option is to hard shut off my system, edit the files in .gconf and remove this option so I can log back in to my computer. Otherwise, it will continue to crash ever log in. Kernel 2.6.16 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 2006-04-17 18:16 /lib/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.3.6.so This is a serious bug to me... I was stuck for a day, re creating my profile and everything tracking this bug down. Chris
