at least on my machine, this patch causes the package to FTBFS for me, at least in some cases. Could someone please try this as well and tell me it works for you?
I'm quite confused of this, because I'm quite sure that this patch
worked for me some time ago.
Anyway, IIRC this problem has already been discussed upstream.
