Due to GNOME upstream restriction in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/merge_requests/1970 , GNOME shell + wayland users cannot use private D-Bus APIs to silently capture screenshots. As discussed in https://github.com/flameshot-org/flameshot/issues/1910 , flameshot developers will turn to XDG desktop portal to capture screen instead. This hasn't been implemented yet.
