Sorry Marcin, I should have replied to this bug as well. After testing both setup (cdrecord with SUID on/off) I don't think that there's any real need the bit. So feel free to either use k3bsetup (it is now accessible again) to turn it on or to ignore the warning. Either way seems to work fine.
