nwrite is an "enhanced write(1) replacement". Now write(1) itself is not very fashionable anymore except for system messages (think reboot, but this is really wall(1) then). nwrite has not seen any uploads since 2012, is orphaned in Debian since 2018, its upstream has also disappeared. Popcon seems to be very low. With my util-linux Maintainer hat on, I would like to remove the alternatives setup for write(1), and nwrite is the last other package supplying a write program.
