CherryPy has suffered a major overhaul since its version 2 and is now very different from what it was on version 0.10. The code packaged in the cherrypy source package is old, obsolete and unmaintained. I mailed the maintainer about removing the package, and will be requesting the removal 7 days from now, if I get no answers.
