It would be fantastic if you could do that! I've actually been trying to write Josselin a number of times since June 2020 about this, but I haven't managed to get a substantive response yet. I'm not sure if he's still the Debian maintainer or if he is gone now. Fortunately the project has been resurrected and is actively maintained. It's even Debianized for a stable and unstable PPA.
