You are right about nvidia, but I do not use wayland... And I probably won't be
using it until it becomes as stable as xorg. Also, my card supports up to
opengl 3.3, if this is the case.
I've no idea if this is relevant. NVIDIA cards are quite often a source
of fun.
BTW: Wayland is stable and also *only* a protocol, it's up to the
software on top of that to implement that protocol. NVIDIA hasn't done
any great job here yet.
I build the TB betas to not get lost in keeping track of the required
patching we need within the Debian packaging, but I usually don't use
betas for to long and switch back to the ESR version for daily use.
I found the report in bugzilla after I opened this bug report here and I have
also tried launching it after setting this
export MOZ_X11_EGL=1
but it still has the same issue. Does tb 90b2 show the preferences menu as
usual in your setup?
I don't see the error messages on the CLI or the Error Console
(Ctrl+Shift+J), but I also have issues too in the preferences tab.
Haven't looked into this before this report.
But I also don't see some clear problem in the Error Console.
My hardware usually uses the integrated graphic card within the Intel
based CPU. On the PC I'm sitting it's Mesa Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630
(CFL GT2).
So still I've no idea how to narrow down the problem. It's needed to get
reported upstream.
